2013 Nissan GT-R

Experience the 2013 Nissan GT-R at Ehrlich Nissan Greeley, internet sales to Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder, Colorado, Texas, California, New York and across the entire country!  Nissan Owner First Award of Excellence Dealer.

Nissan delivers extraordinary performance for less than a hundred thousand dollars with Nissan reliability standard. The twin-turbo charged engine develops enough power to smoke all four tires in a zero to 60 mph run of 3.1 seconds. Compare that to the Ferrari 458 Itali time of 3.4 seconds or the Lamborghini Aventador time of 3.0 seconds or the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster time of 3.8 seconds.

Nissan extracted this truly competitive performance of the 2013 Nissan GT-R to other supercars costing many times more by putting an outstanding engine in an exceptional body with all-wheel drive and running gear designed to keep everything under control.

The GT-R is a four passenger car with a front mounted engine delivering power to all four wheels through a front, center and rear differential. It's 183.9 inches long, 74.6 inches wide and 53.9 inches tall and weighs 3,829 pounds. The Black Edition weighs 3818 pounds.

The engine is a 3.8 liter, turbocharged V6 that produces 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft. of torque. It features double-overhead cams, four valves per cylinder with variable intake and exhaust valve timing. The redline is set at 7000 rpm and the compression ratio at 9.0:1. The Environmental Protection Agency rates the GT-R at 16 city MPG and 23 highway MPG.

The engine pushes the power to all four wheels through a six speed, double-clutch transmission. The driver can stay in automatic mode or shift through the gears with steering-column mounted paddles. The transmission/engine combination is reliable and tuned to the needs of the driver, even blipping the throttle for downshifts automatically. As you would expect from a supercar, the shifts, going up or down, move with lightening speed.

A supercar turns corners at speeds that curl your hair and make your eyelids flutter. The GT-R does 1.01 lateral g-force on a skidpad. That world-class performance is delivered by a front suspension with independent double wishbones, coil springs, a stabilizer bar and driver-adjustable dampers. The rear suspension features independent multilink, coil springs, a stabilizer bar and driver-adjustable dampers. Supercars also stop very quickly. The GT-R pulls itself from 60 mph to standing still in a little over 100 feet with 15.4 and 15.0 inch ventilated, cross-drilled discs and six-piston calipers in front and back.

The GT-R does something far better than more costly supercars. It lets you go to work, run errands and drive to the mall without over-heating, hitting the asphalt with the nose of the car or trying to park with small, awkwardly placed windows. You can listen to an excellent, eleven-speaker stereo, talk on your Bluetooth connected phone or consult the standard navigation system. You even have a place to put the groceries once you've bought them with a trunk holding 8.8 cubic feet of tomatoes, squash and hot dogs.
